Community heating project needs your help

London South Bank University and SEA-RENUE have been commissioned by the London Energy Partnership to gather data on community energy schemes throughout London.

The objective is to build a database of all the district heating/cooling networks in London as a useful tool for developers and their design teams so they can quickly identify if they are close to a potential scheme they may be able to connect to.

The more data the researchers get, the more helpful the database will be. If you know ANYTHING about a community energy or district heating scheme (with or without CHP) in any London borough then do please get in touch with the team via the contact details below.

They would really appreciate information such as scheme location and a contact, but say that size, connected buildings - anything you've got would really help.

The team at LSBU asked us to thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. This information is highly valued and the database will greatly enhance the implementation of community heating in London, they say.

Please send any information to Chris Dunham via email or phone 020 7089 6971
