- Halocarbons
Compounds of halogens and carbon, such as chlorofluocarbons (CFCs).
Compounds of carbon combined with one or more of the elements called halogens (fluorine, chlorine, bromine, iodine, and astatine). Halocarbons containing fluorine, chlorine and bromine contribute to ozone depletion and to the enhanced greenhouse effect.
- Home Energy Efficiency Scheme (HEES)
- Equivalent of Warm Front for homes in Wales.
- Home Information Pack
- Required from June 2007 of all house sellers to provide potential buyers with additional information including an energy performance certificate.
