Hertfordshire University gets a green makeover
SMART Plc, are an ECA member company, who specialise in the deployment of a broad range of networking, data and electrical projects across the UK and Europe.
Employed 18 months to complete a green makeover for Hertfordshire university, SMART teamed up with a company called first signs and labels, to install LED lighting and signage for the university. SMART installed a micro wind turbine and solar panels which provided the electricity from which the signs were run. The project was a sucess, as the univerity now run their sign on renewble energy, and have achieved 'green' reputational benefits.
